The Children's Park
The Children's Park initiative began in 2003 as a collaboration amongst homeowners for which the Kirkman family agreed to contribute 7,000 square meters of land. As you can see from the thoughtful designs below, the park will be a special place for children to gather, play games, and fly kites in a friendly and safe environment.
Lit pathways will frame the park at dusk and tropical plantings will frame the large grass field. Park benches and a casita style gazebo will provide seating both for the sun and shade. The design includes a basketball court, an in-ground skate park, plus a large jungle gym, swings and play areas for smaller children. It will also be attractively landscaped in the detailed tradition of Sea Horse Ranch.
The park is an ideal low density area for children to play freely and meet other children in the community. Located near the Security Building and the Tennis Club, access will be convenient by vehicle and by the surfaced walking paths which will be extended and improved by Sea Horse Ranch in the near future.
